Practicing the art of homemaking for the last 13 years. We live on a beginning homestead in Western Wisconsin, home to my family of 5 and various creatures both wild and domestic. Days are spent homeschooling, gardening our full acre garden, caring for our home and engaging with our community through nature groups and a stand at our local Farmer's Market. This life spent in connection to the Lord, the land and each other brings with it an abundance I've never known before. Come along with us as we celebrate everything the Lord is doing in our lives!
Alyssa lives in South Central, Minnesota with her 3 lovely children, her husband and her 11 chickens. With her husband working from home they often joke they are a "full time family" but wouldn't have it any other way. In the margins of homemaking, homesteading, and leading a bible study at church she hopes to cultivate and inspire homemakers to love their homes, their families, and the simple way of life through her blog, harborhome32.com and through this podcast.Â
"But as for me, how good it is to be near God!
I have made the Soverign Lord my shelter,
and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do."
Psalm 73:28
